PROMO!! ALL BANDS PLEASE READ!!

We have recently had to change our method of booking/compensating bands due to our business needs. We want you all to understand we really do care and want to have good relationships with you all. We want to pay fairly and be fun to work with:) I have called all of you to explain our new system and I hope its something we can all be happy with.

Now on to business :)

We ask all bands to promote yourself heavily for your shows. We feel it is YOUR responsibility to bring in people for your shows. However it has come to my attention that some bands feel we are not doing our part. So here is a list of things we are doing so you understand that WE KNOW its a partnership and we appreciate your help. Please send promo to the bar no less the TWO WEEKS BEFORE YOUR SHOW!! And please promote in any way you can outside of the bar. The more you bring in the better your pay.

1.We are listing all our calendar dates in local papers, magazines, internet press AND our site ALL BY NAME. Your bands names are displayed on all this not just "live music Friday" but actually promoting YOU.

2. Whenever we have radio time, Faith has used part of her purchased time to include the names of the bands coming up on the next weekend.

3.CCH also pays for the sound system and sound guy without asking the band to split money with him like A LOT of places usually do.

We really want a good relationship with you all and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING UNDERSTANDING. You all have been great to work with and very understanding of our situation.

Also I want everyone to know How determined Faith has been to make this work and make sure that bands were treated fairly. I as a fellow musician have RARELY worked with owners as cool and unselfish as she is. I'm glad she is my friend and I hope you all will be her friend as well:)
